| Format Definitions: |
Prelim/Finals: prelims is short for preliminaries. There are two sessions per day in these meets
for the 9 and older age groups. |
|
|
They
swim in the morning "prelims" attempting to qualify for the "finals" session,
usually the top 16 or 24 swimmers. |
|
|
8 and under swimmers will
typically swim in a timed final format at those meets. |
|
|
Timed Finals: Each swimmer swims their events once and those results are
final. |
